We are growing and looking for a Sales Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, designing scalable systems, and working directly with clients to build secure and intelligent facilities.

Our engineers work directly with some of the most influential organizations and infrastructure in New York and beyond, helping solve complex security and technology challenges.

The Role

Sales Engineers at NYSS play a critical role in helping organizations design modern security infrastructure. This position blends technical engineering, system architecture, and client engagement.

Compensation

Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience

Performance-based bonuses

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and evaluate infrastructure requirements
  • Design scalable physical security and low-voltage system architectures
  • Develop proposals and scopes of work using engineering tools such as D-Tools/Blue Beam
  • Present technical solutions to security, IT, and facilities stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management, and operations teams
  • Support commissioning and client training

Technologies

  • Verkada and Avigilon Alta access control platforms
  • Axis and Hanwha IP camera systems
  • Enterprise networking and PoE switching
  • Structured cabling infrastructure
  • AI-based video analytics

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in security integration or low-voltage systems
  • Strong knowledge of access control, video systems, and networking
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
